National Missions is the church planting arm of the General Baptist denomination.
Our focus is on reaching our culture with the message of Jesus Christ by planting relevant churches with a contextualized message.
We are involved in the following activities:
Presently, only 10-18% of the American population is in church each Sunday. In many cases three generations do not attend church. Our culture is post-modern and post-Christian. Many people no longer hold to the values of Christianity and instead have chosen to be involved in witchcraft, the occult and non-biblical religions. How can we reach the masses of unbelievers in our society? We can do that by planting new churches.
New churches are effective in reaching new people for Christ because:
In 2010, the last ten churches planted by General Baptists experienced over 900 persons giving their lives to Christ. The statistics for 2011 aren’t in yet, but it is expected the results will be similar. We want to see more people reached for Christ. That means more church planters and more churches. That’s where you can help. First, you can pray for us as we seek to plant new churches as God would lead. Second, you can give. There is a place on this page where you can donate to National Missions. Every dollar you give will help us recruit church planters and help us plant new General Baptist churches.
Above you will also see a place where you can sign up for the E-Voice, our electronic newsletter. It is sent out once a month and will keep you informed as to what is going on in National Missions and help you know where you can donate to help with projects.
God bless you. Please remember to pray for us and when you can give to help plant churches.
